A managing principal, Randy serves as the director of marketing and risk management services. In this role, Randy’s responsibilities include coordinating the placement of insurance and delivering customized insurance solutions and comprehensive risk management services for the benefit of our clients. Prior to joining the team in 2004, Randy served in a number of risk management, insurance brokerage and consulting positions specializing in amateur and professional sports, entertainment and venue risks. His risk management experience includes work for Turner Sports, Atlanta Braves (MLB club), Atlanta Hawks (NBA team), Atlanta Thrashers (former NHL club), Turner Field and Philips Arena. Randy has had the privilege of handling the risk management issues for the 2000 MLB All-Star Game, the 2003 NBA All-Star Game and the 2008 NHL All-Star Game. On the amateur sports front, Randy led the risk management efforts for Ted Turner’s Goodwill Games in New York, NY (1998), Lake Placid, NY (2000), and Brisbane, Australia (2001). Away from the office, Randy and his wife Anita share their lives with three wonderful children (Stephanie, David & Matthew). In the fall, Randy enjoys serving as the defensive coordinator for the flag football team that both of his sons play for. Given the success his defenses have had for past several seasons, Randy had hoped to parlay his flag football coaching experience into a full-time coaching position at the University of Georgia (his alma mater where he earned his BBA degree in Risk Management/Insurance many years ago). But unfortunately for Randy, UGA decided to go in another direction when they hired Kirby Smart away from defending National Champion Alabama. |
